"In Search of the Kushtaka" The New Book by Dennis Waller coming March 2014

What are the Kushtaka?
There are incredible stories of the sinister Kushtaka or “land otter man” as it is known by the Tlingit’s all throughout Southeastern Alaska. Whether these stories are the stuff of legend and myth remains to be seen. However a legend that endures over time, endures for a reason, leaving us with the question. Is the legend and myth of the Kushtaka something that really exists? Is it based on actual events or the byproduct of a vivid imagination of a people unable to explain the unexplainable?
The purpose of this book is to explore this amazing mystery, to see if we can unlock the door to the Kushtaka and discover the truth. Joseph Campbell said myths are clues to the spiritual potentialities of the human life, that a myth helps you to put your mind in touch with the experience of being alive. In this case, in order to experience being alive, we might have to experience being scared to death.
The Kushtaka are mystical shape shifting creatures with supernatural powers. They are masters at waging psychological warfare with the ability to twist time and space creating anomalies that defy the laws of physics. It is said they possess telepathic abilities. Encounters have told of the unsuspecting victim having their worst nightmares brought to life, as if the Kushtaka were able to draw on the fears of their intended targets.
The Kushtaka are considered evil and treated with a level of trepidation among the Tlingit. It is believed that the Kushtaka deprived their victims of everlasting life thus not allowing for the victims soul to be reincarnated. These creatures appear to the victims as in the form of relatives or friends to confuse the victim. Their primary purpose is to lure the unsuspecting target away from their homes in order to turn them into Kushtaka. On the seas, the Kushtaka are feared for taking advantage of the Tlingit’s in their canoes. They prey on the drowning by expediting the Tlingit’s demise by creating these disastrous events.
Adding to the mystery is the location of their habitat. The Kushtaka are said to live along the southeastern coast of Alaska hidden away in the deep rugged rainforest that even today remains mostly uncharted and unknown to man. Protected by rough seas to the west and insurmountable mountains to the east and north, these creatures are literally cut off from the world you and I know. If someone or something wanted to drop off the face of the earth, this is one place where you could do it. With names like the “Bay of Death,” it’s easy to see how someone could disappear in this lonely vastness, never to be seen again.
Some consider the Kushtaka to be a cousin to Bigfoot while others believe the Kushtaka are multi-dimensional beings. There are no photos or videos, no cast of their footprint. There have been no reports of the Kushtaka named Harry having dining with the Henderson’s.  Nor has anyone claimed to have a Kushtaka stuffed and mounted. These creatures are much more mysterious, almost as if Stephen King himself created them.
Kushtaka or Kooshdakhaa is a Tlingit word meaning “land otter man.” The Kushtaka is on one hand the nemeses of the Tlingit people, yet necessary to their Shamans who play a critical role in the survival of the Tlingit people.  The Tlingit people are as mysterious in their beliefs as the Kushtaka making for strange bedfellows.
In Search of the Kushtaka
The Kushtaka are these mythical creatures of the Tlingit Indians of Southeastern Alaska. Throughout history to modern times, there are stories of the people who have cross paths with them. The book takes a look at the mythology of the Tlingit along with the relationship between the Shamans and the Kushtaka. With breakthroughs in science, we'll explain how these creatures can indeed exist. We'll also demonstrate that these mysteries share the same stories as those from around the world.

Thomas Bay also known as the Bay of Death will be a focal point in the book. Located in Southeastern Alaska off the Frederick Sound at the Bay of Death, aptly named as this is where a landslide washed over 500 souls to their icy graves into the bay. There is a story that claims that their fate was sealed when their shaman broke his covenant with the Kushtaka, retribution for breaking the code of silence. We have found three people who share their encounter with the supernatural. Hollywood couldn't make this up, it is beyond logic and reason.

"In Search of the Kushtaka" promises to be an entertaining and educational read offering a fresh perspective to the world of Bigfoot. Coming in March 2014

Shfting in the Land of the Shiftless
Tuesday, October 2, 2012 12:25

by Zen Gardner
The Shift is here. Big time. So many people are experiencing the stepped-up strange changes and shifts in perception it’s amazing. Time seems altered, perception seems to be slipping. Many are feeling almost drugged by it.
It’s moving fast. It’s not easy to describe but the effects change perception, your sense of timing and energy, and some are even sensing physical earth changes around them.
And it’s all good!…that is, unless we resist the change.

Trends Now Appearing

I’m seeing some very interesting trends of late in light of these changes, both inspiring and disconcerting.
On the surface, some of these trends seem to contradict each other, but really they’re manifestations of the same vibrational change in the midst of the mounting matrix clampdown and we have to see them as such. And these choices remain choices for each and every one of us.
That’s why commitment brings peace.
But I digress.
We are looking overall at a very basic choice humanity is being forced to make. Do we open up to these vibrational changes, or do we align our lives with the non-thinking, unfeeling fascist clampdown on humanity? It’s always been this way but this current exponentially growing intensity is precipitating a crisis.
A good one.
Do we stay open and conscious, or yield to the oppression for seeming personal safety and security?
You’ll see this choice radically evident as the days go by.

Now You See It…Now You Don’t?

Within the more conscious community there is apparently another choice at work. It appears to me from what I’m seeing that while so many “get” it and are open to these expanding changes, even though it’s a somewhat confusing time, a reluctant contingent are apparently fainting in their minds and stumbling backwards into a sort of resignation mode.
And something’s strange and very wrong about it.
We can’t mess with free choice and never should. But what I don’t like is this creeping cynicism I’m sensing. How come some people in the alternative community are caving in to this growing sense of hopeless resignation? I can understand a little spiritual withdrawal in the light of obvious truths, but arm-folding and snide remarks that only disparage and discourage?
Is this a form of insecure self-justification?
Preparation for and resignation to some obvious very probable eventualities at our doorstep has its place. But quitting conscious participation in the awakening is another. Did these people never really get free and see the full picture in the first place, and are getting sucked back into the gravity of the matrix?
Something to think about.
Seems we could be getting another level of sifting and testing. Sounds about right. That’s how it works.

Only We Can Stop Ourselves

Let’s face it, so many are preparing and screaming about the deliberate implosion of the world’s current structure so that’s nothing revelatory any more. The headliner should be the overriding power of consciousness and conscious awareness of the greater Truth. As serious as our current circumstances are they’re essentially just part of the play we’re in. We’re active players, yes, yet we can also transcend the playing field to see the bigger, truer picture.
Even more so, our influence is universal and eternal. Never lose sight of that or you’ll give up in the face of any adversity.
When someone says, “No. No further. Can’t do it, not me..” it’s over. It won’t be over for me, but it’s over for them. Them and all of those they were the possible link to, whom they could have influenced for the better had they said “Yes!” and kept on.
Remember: Only we can stop ourselves. We have the majesty of choice. Nothing can take that away.
And your decision affects everyone else. Everyone. So does mine.

New Life, New Energy, New Challenges

It’s happening. Even though this consciousness shift and vibrational empowerment is paralleling the dark side’s efforts to shut everything down and suppress us, this amazing cosmic rift is ripping open fantastic new energies and bringing new life at new levels to our planet and all its living creatures.
To the already awake it’s more easy to discern what’s going on and to ride these waves, although it’s challenging even to the most seemingly seasoned “astro-surfers”. To the newbie and those just now getting the cosmic nudge, it can be pretty disconcerting.
Choosing to get “on board” is generally pretty instinctive to the pure in heart.
But some aren’t so sure, sorry to say.
My concern is their cynicism will infect others. They should cool it and keep their fainting to themselves.

We Need Each Other

People are finding and giving support and realizing how much we have in common and need each other more than ever. We’re looking for strength, community, support. It’s there but it’s difficult to find in many cases. The forums and comments sections are a manifestation of this hunger, as well as the burgeoning social media phenomena.
On top of that, people have their own personal mailing lists where they keep loved ones and new friends up to speed on important developments.
My heart goes out to these people. I want to reach out and help them in any way I can. In most cases they help me more than I help them as far as I’m concerned. The yearning is mutual amongst all of us but we often don’t realize it until we make contact. Then the energy gets exchanged.
It’s a beautiful thing. I’m blown away daily by the amazingly informed and conscious, loving people I correspond with and those who visit my site and how they appreciate and support each other.
That’s how it’s supposed to work.

That’s No Melancholy Baby

I’d say beware this melancholy resignation that’s creeping in. A major conflagration is about to happen, yes, but we have to see through and beyond it. A misdirected, down-turned attitude will lead to defeat and deliberate disempowerment to those who entertain it and those they influence, intentional or not.
The decision to ultimately look to the spiritual like never before as a way of refuge and personal empowerment is a good one. But don’t withdraw from the fray. Everyone’s participation is crucial. You can remain a participant in spirit if nothing else.
Remember, the shift is hitting everyone. It’s not just real in the life or mind of the conscious experiencer. It hits everyone. Just because someone cannot yet, or refuses to, see the Truth around them and draw some startling conclusions as to what’s really going on, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
We do not need mass endorsement for anything.

Seeing Past the Conflagration: Consciousness is Never Wasted

Seeing past the coming conflagration is really important at this time. As more and more revelations come to light in all aspects of society and knowledge, science, and every sphere of understanding, these imprints on the collective conscience will not be lost. Although much of what science and mainstream media is beginning to confirm and publicize may appear to be too little and too late, it’s not in the grand scheme of things.
However this next chapter unfolds, it is my conviction that humanity’s collective conscience will retain what it has learned through the awakening we’re all experiencing.
This may seem a bit esoteric to some, but when you know there is no such thing as death it’s an easy flow.
Get there…it’s a nice, peaceful place. And you can see a whole lot more clearly from there!

Humanity’s Force Multiplier and the Ballast of Love!

While a massive depopulation program is well under way via the genetic altering and toxification of our planet, every conscious soul born to this world adds ballast to the human experience and hence our conscious growth, especially as we’re shifted into higher frequencies of consciousness.
Why else would they attack babies and children so heinously and treat humanity as cattle to be farmed instead of treasured as a divine gift?
That mentality will never stand in the light of Truth and Love. If you need a reminder as to how cold and calculated these globalist parasites are, just look at the anti-human Zbigniew Brzezinski when he coldly gave the signal to the elite minions to kill by saying, “It is easier (today) to kill a million people than it is to control them.” (Source)
That’s what we’re up against.
And that’s the reason they fear us. We outweigh them. We out love them. We out human them.

Conclusion: There’s No Disengaging from the Shift

It’s everywhere. It permeates every level of the Universe. We can and should retreat to meditative states for periods of time, but these cosmic changes are as inescapable as the influences of the sun on humanity and they’re affecting every sphere of creation, and we need to participate in as many of these spheres as we’re called to.
We’re part of a marvelous Universe with unlimited potential. We each share that unlimited potential.
Let your life be empowered and enhanced by this shift. Become conscious and let it activate you with Truth and Love as your guide.
That’s where the love is connected, in a commitment to Truth.
Those who are truly free know it. Those who aren’t, don’t.
Know you are free.

The Way of the Tao

A treatise and interpretation of Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching by Dennis M Waller.

The Tao is an ancient philosophy of living in the natural world. It shows the way of how to get back to being your Authentic Self, your Spiritual Self. The Tao has the power to help you reclaim your life from the temporal ego identity that is imprisoning you. With the Tao you can discover your Authentic Identity by getting back to the being-ness and oneness of living in the Divine Consciousness. Through discovering these truths we can become the creators of the universe instead of the passive observers we have been. We can learn to live life in the infinity of the now verses living in the clutches of the Ego. The Tao shows us how to grow detached from the ego identity by becoming in direct contact with our true intent and motives that was meant for us. When we do, we begin to see ourselves as we truly are. It is being authentic that we become reconnected to the divine source.

What is the Way of the Tao? It is the way things are in their own natural progression of life and death. The way of intelligent design as shown in nature, this is the way of the Tao. It is the way without dogmas, formalities or religion.

To live in the Tao is to live in peace and harmony. The Tao gives you the knowledge of being one with the higher realm of divine consciousness and to experience the innerconnectiveness to all living things. It is to have the awareness of being in this world while knowing that you are not part of it because you are more than all of this. You are one and 10,000 things at the same moment. You are the song that the bird sings, the breeze blowing through the trees, the fish swimming in a brook, the warmth of the sun shining from above, the coolness of the earth below your feet, you are life and death, all at once and not at all. There is no separation in the Divine Oneness.

The Tao contains the power to liberate you from the ego-imposed prison of the dualistic world. Living in the Tao can bring a deep inner peace and a reconnection to the divine source. The wisdom of the Tao is in a practical sense, a way to live life with the clarity of knowing the universal truth. When you are living in the Tao, you will see resistance and opposition fade away. Conflict and stress will become distant memories. The issues of life become irrelevant or will simply disappear once you start living your authentic self with the Tao. The Tao shows how to transcend all those insurmountable obstacles that the ego has created.

There is another level of existence that is the real, true, genuine substance of who you are. This is the authentic self. The authentic self is the real you that can be found at your absolute core. It is the part of you not defined by your job, function, nationality, religion, race or role in life. It is the composite of all your skills, talents and wisdom. It is all of the things that are uniquely yours and need expression, rather than what you believe you are supposed to be and do.

The choice we need to make is whether to trust in our own nature, to be of a pure heart and mind or to live in a world where we are trying to control everything. We have seen that going against our nature provides no comfort or satisfaction for our souls. For authentic satisfaction, for true peace, we must learn to realize who we are and where we came from. The truth is all around us. You can hear the voice of god in the laughter of children at play and in the songs of the birds. You can see God in all his glory throughout all of nature. It is all around us to see and experience. Remember you are part of this universe and here to experience it. Be your Authentic Self and be one with it all. To live in the Tao and live your purpose is to live life to the fullest.

Hsin Hsin Ming

This book provides an intuitive insight into the heart of Zen through a translation of Seng-Ts'an's poem, Hsin Hsin Ming. Reading through the pages you will become familiar with the basic principles of Zen with an interesting collection of perspectives from Quantum Physics to more traditional views of Taoism. These different thoughts are brought together to serve the reader a rewarding experience.

Hsin Hsin Ming by Seng-Ts'an is the Zen Poem that is often referred to as the poem of nothing. While very short, it is the fusion of Lao Tzu's Taoism and Buddha's Buddhism into what is known as Zen. It is like a waterfall that you listen to. It says nothing but speaks the unknown to those who can hear it. Become like a temple to hear the what isn't being said. This is to know the meaning of this poem.

The central message of the Hsin Hsin Ming is to point directly to the mind by giving up judgments and opinions so you can see the Oneness and the Nothingness of what reality really is. The poem professes the need to live life with equanimity, to practice living in a state of non-duality while in this dualistic world. It is a guide to the path of Enlightenment. It isn't about trying to attain anything, rather it is about losing false views and perceptions. To remove all that the ego so desires to cling to. The path to enlightenment is the realization that there is nothing to find, nowhere to go, nothing to achieve. There is no need to search for God for God has been within you always. God, itself is your true self, your true being. It is nothing more than waking up from the dream.

"Upon returning home on a cold winter night, I begin my evening by building a fire in the fireplace to chase away the chill. Once I have gather the logs and placed them so, I start the fire. At the birth of the flames starting to flicker among the logs, it is in that moment I know that I am releasing all the memories that have been stored up in that tree. I know that I am releasing the sunshine that gave warmth to that tree , that tree from whence the firewood came. I know that I am releasing the clouds that gave it shade, the rain that quench its thirst, the soil from which it received its nourishment, and all those enjoyments that the tree experienced so joyfully, like those memories of the autumn breeze caressing its leaves and the still of the moonlight on a winter night while that tree stood stoic in deep contemplation. And in the knowing of giving shelter in the spring and being a refuge to the song birds and the animals that called it home. Yes, while I witness the flickering of those flames, I see all of this and more, for the log in the fire is more than what it seems. It is at once an explosion of all its life's experiences and joys, and a reminder of what we leave behind, for this log has shown me, how even I, am connected to it all.

Occupy Movement Missing the Point

Date: April 4, 2012
Reporting From: Hong Kong

Strolling around the streets of Hong Kong last night trying to (unsuccessfully) ward off the jet lag, I was a bit surprised to stumble upon the local 'Occupy' movement.

A small group, maybe a few dozen at most, has pitched a mini tent village in the open-air atrium of HSBC's headquarters on Queen's Road in central Hong Kong.

When I stopped by for a little chat, the group was delighted to tell me all about their anti-capitalist movement. I nodded politely and asked several questions in an effort to understand their philosophical grounding.

No doubt, they smell something rotten in the system. They sense a great injustice in the world and feel like they need to do something about it. Unfortunately, their actions are completely misguided.

They don't realize that 'capitalism' is a distant myth compared to the kleptocratic Keynesian fiat bubble that we're living in... and they've completely missed the driving force of central bankers and idiotic politics that encouraged bad decision making.

On the surface, these are complicated topics... and there's so much populist propaganda out there, it's easy for the 'Occupiers' to draw the wrong conclusions.

But blaming capitalism for the world's economic ills is like blaming the guy who invented gunpowder for nuclear holocaust. Sure, you could make an argument that the two are loosely related, but the real blame lies with the system itself-- a system which awards perverse power and control to an elite few.

As I've often written, future historians will look back on our time with utter incredulity and wonder how we could allow such a system to take over... to allow a tiny handful of men to control the lives and livelihoods of billions of people.

Certainly, injustice in the world is great. There are a lot of people who are suffering, people who have had their lives turned upside down from state-sponsored corporate welfare.

Holding out for the government to fix it, though, is like waiting for a thief to give your stuff back. It's not going to happen. They're instrumental in perpetuating the problem.

At the end of the day, we only have ourselves to rely on.

This morning as I was jogging around Hong Kong's Soho district, I saw the personification of self-reliance in a 70-year old woman.

She was pushing a heavy cart uphill, loaded down with all sorts of boxes and bags. It was easily twice her size, but she was powering through, slow and steady up the hill.

When I stopped to help, she initially waived me off, but I insisted. Little did I realize we weren't just going up the street... we were going all the way to the top, several hundred meters at least.

When we reached her corner, the lady thanked me and began cerimoniously unpacking and laying out her gear. It was all just useless knick-knacks that she had acquired and was prepared to haggle over with passers-by in order to make a few bucks that day.

It was extraordinary; at about 6am, on a holiday no doubt, this woman in her 70s was pushing a cart uphill by herself so that she could stand on a street corner all day to sell some little trinkets.

The dichotomy was extraordinary... and it's an important lesson.

Yes, the kids are right-- there is great injustice in the world. But if they really want to fix things and look out for future generations, the best thing they can do is follow the woman's example of self-reliance.

We all have a finite amount of resources-- time, money, energy. Spending those resources on camping out and lamenting the symptoms of the problem (rather than the fundamental issue) is counterproductive and wasteful. The system can't be fixed; it's going to collapse on its own soon enough.

Rather, we should be focusing on taking care of ourselves, our families, and setting ourselves up for success when the system is reset and the rules are rewritten.

The Age of Madness and Enlightenment

The Age of Maddness and Enlightenment

by Zen Gardner

It’s hold on and let go time! That’s about the sum of it. The vibrational ride is picking up steam so cinch up your saddles, relax from tension and lean into the wind. We’re gonna have to be on our spiritual toes for what’s about to hit and we’re already getting a taste of.

Things are gonna get wonky!

Real sailors and sea lovers don’t freak at the challenge of a good storm, but also have the utmost respect for the awesome power of nature. Like a surfer watching a huge wave build as he catches the top of it and starts his descent, he respects it, admires it, but knows he better do the right thing to keep this a fun experience. He’s also psycholgocially prepared for any eventuality…including what to do to survive if he wipes out!

Well, we’re pretty much there. I mean, this has been buiiding for some time. But we’re hitting new levels and need to walk circumspectly and stay tuned more than ever if we’re to get the most out of this wonderful opportunity while avoiding the pitfalls.

As David Icke, one of the most profound messengers of our time, said almost 6 years ago and continues to reinterate:

"The end of the inter-generational amnesia is in sight and therefore so is the ‘world’ it has allowed to manifest. It may seem that we are sinking deeper in the mire of control, surveillance and manipulation, but that is being expressed in the ‘out there’ realm of the still-unwakened – the great majority for sure. One step back from that, however, there is a stirring in the hearts and consciousness of rapidly increasing numbers of people and the time is coming when that will explode in massive global change."

The fact that we’re now 6 years closer is profound!

A World Gone Nuts
We can see how that has already happened in so many respects. The mindless addiction and belief in the false media; wars being waged without regard for popular support or even political consent; scientific insanity from bioweapons to nuclear madness; deliberate economic implosions for manipulative control; the corporate rape of planet earth; and a clear and openly stated elite agenda for a drastic reduction in the world’s population that is already under way.

Insane enough?

Ah, but here’s the blowback. All that is not based in conscious reality. All that is a fabricated matrix from a dark vibrational level. When it gets tested by Source, our Universal reality scanner of vibrational Truth, it cannot stand. By definition what is false and fabricated will crumble.

That doesn’t mean they won’t make their last ditch effort to shove their plan through. And it may even meet some short term apparent success. But it cannot stand, just as the twin towers couldn’t withstand whatever it was that vaporized them.

And psychologically? They are mincemeat!

No way can they stand up to these vibrational changes! Their construct is left brain and call it lower vibrational or Satanically inspired and it cannot stand the Truth.

Top 5 Regrets of the Dying

TOP 5 REGRETS OF THE DYING by Bronnie Ware

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learnt never to underestimate someone's capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn't work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.
