Take time out today to send a note of thanks to our young soldiers, our young men and women, our wounded hero's at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC. Let them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Let them know that they are not alone.
Can you even begin to imagine what it is like to be only 22 years old and faced with the rest of your life with a disability, not the mention the nightmares of what they witness and had to endure? All your hopes and dreams down the drain? Can you imagine the heartbreak these young men and woman feel? Yes, they will get all be taken care of and will resume their lives the best they can. You know as well as I, that there are some, laying in bed questioning the why, all alone, with nothing more than their thoughts. That could be your son or daughter or your brother or sister. The funny thing is,,, we are all one, in God's eyes, we are all one, they are all our family, yours and mind.
What I am asking is for you to take a moment to let them know, that they are not alone, that they are a part of us, part of the US. We thanked them for their commitment and sacrifice. Let them know that even though they are miles away and in pain, they have our love and respect. Let them know that they will aways be in our heart. That there is nothing we wont do for them, " The answer is yes, just give me the question "
They have earned this from us. It is the least that we can do. Just the simple act of compassion and love in the form of a note, card or letter can change their outlook. Even if for a moment, if you can bring a smile on their face,,,,, what more could you ask for,,,,to give the feeling of love and care to one of our soldiers.
So, help me bring peace, love and joy to our Hero's. Let them know that they are not alone, that they are always in our hearts. Tell your family, friends, coworkers to do this. Not only for them, but for you. Yes, you too will benefit from this as well. Take time to give thanks for your blessing and share your love with these young men and woman who have given so much to this great country. Let them know that they are loved and thank them, let them know they are not alone,,,,,,,
Thank you, god bless you all, Dennis
